Junior Accountant

This is a Contract position in Hackensack, NJ posted June 17, 2020.

We are currently searching for a Junior Accountant with an excellent company in the Hackensack, NJ area. Our client is looking to hire immediately and will consider candidates at varying levels of experience.

**Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage company financial accounts, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, among others.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
  • Conduct periodic reconciliation of accounts and report any issues to supervisor.
  • Maintain confidential information and the highest levels of discretion.
  • Support in the creation of monthly and annual reports.
  • Lead special projects tied to the department’s mission and goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 1+ years of equivalent Accounting experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong written and oral communications.
  • Ability to excel in a team environment and work independently.
