Digital Product Manager

This is a Contract position in South Brunswick, NJ posted March 26, 2020.

Business product manager with 3 – 5 years of experience for web platform and mobile application development with Travel & Hospitality experience based out of New Jersey.

Candidate will work with a Product Director to define and execute the product road map for Web and Mobile (iOS, Android).

Responsibilities Define experience-led digital product constructs for concierge and loyalty services with differentiated value proposition to address customer and client needs with a global / international perspective.

Work with Senior Product Manager to define features within product road map (short term release plans and long-term vision) considering digital footprint across Web and Mobile (iOS, Android).

Manage and prioritize an iterative product roadmap and product life-cycle of specific products from strategy, sell-in, design, build, release and iterations.

Define detailed requirements, user stories, and functional requirements, including wireframes, mockups, and interaction models.

Work closely with the UI / UX, engineering and operations teams to bring the product to life.

Define KPIs and measurement plan for monitoring and assessing product impact and refinements.

Ownership of all product deliverables like documentation, marketing collaterals, release trainings, external debriefings.

Understanding of running rigorous A/B tests across desktop, mobile web and apps.

Project-manage the end-to-end delivery of key product initiatives and iterations.

Run an efficient and clear communication process to update stakeholders on project status, risks, mitigations and updates.

Work closely with service delivery operational teams and 3rd party fulfillment providers to develop and enhance workflow processes.

Monitor the competitive landscape by examining strategies of best-in-class competitors; identify emerging online trends and recommend changes based on customer and competitor insights.

Evangelize products by bringing them to life for customer and client presentations and opportunities.

Strong understanding of recent & emerging IT trends in the travel and hospitality arena.

Must have prior hands on experience with digital platforms and transformation engagements in Travel and Hospitality domain.

Required Experience 5 years of consumer-facing digital product management experience Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to client teams and client leadership Experience defining mobile customer experiences for native or mobile web experiences Experience working with external partners and external API providers to develop experiences Strong analytical skills, with ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend action plans to resolve issues Comfort managing concurrent projects in a fast-based, results-driven environment Equal enthusiasm for high-level strategic planning and tactical daily execution Desired Experience Background in user experience design, visual design, or development Interest / experience in AI, Search, NLP, Chatbots Experience in travel, hospitality, retail Experience working across markets to deliver consumer solutions.

MBA with Engineering background preferred
