* Use Microsoft Word to edit and create documents and specifications, emails and reports, bid comparisons and requisitions* Use Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets that list/record information and compute values such as may be used in an estimating spreadsheet.* Use Microsoft Access to create and manage data base assets.* Experience using Micro Station and/or AutoCAD.* Understand and follow PSE&G Standards of Business Controls, understand purchasing limits for various job titles so as to be able to produce requisitions* Ability to read, understand and implement code and specification requirements.* Operate printing and plotting equipment so as to be able to produce copies of drawings and documents as required.* Read and follow written and verbal instructions* Read and understand drawings* Record and archive data as directed in PSE&G data base systems#LI-LC1* BS in Engineering or equivalent degree or significant related technical experience* Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills* Poses a valid driver’s license* Clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Requirements* Demonstrated ability to prepare electric transmission underground project layout drawings.* Experience with materials and specifications for underground cable systems for extruded and pipe cable systems.* Experience in process piping systems including instrumentation and control systems.Desired Requirements* Experience in working on underground transmission pipe-type cable systems* Experience in electrical controls* Experience in piping industry or fabrication* Familiarity with utility best practices (e.g. IEEE, AEIC, ASME, NESC, and NEMA)* Experience with electrical substations and switching station equipmentEOE Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Disabled#LI-LC1
