The Worldwide Scientific Publications organization’s mission is to support the development of high quality medical publications to ensure clear, scientific communication of BMS data enabling the safe, appropriate use of and access to BMS medicines.

The primary responsibility for the Scientific Publications Manager, Cardiovascular is to develop and deliver comprehensive, globally-aligned strategic publication plans and lead the execution of publications to enable the disclosure of evolving BMS data.

Qualifications : Advanced degree: PharmD, PhD or equivalent in a science subject or biomedical subject preferred; Cardiovascular experience strongly preferred 3 years in medical writing and relevant industry work experience; experience in medical communications Working knowledge of scientific publication strategy, planning and execution during all phases of drug development and commercialization process Understanding of good publication practices and guidance (GPP3, ICMJE), Sunshine Act, Pharma Code of Conduct, and other guidance related to post-marketing practices and scientific data communication Understanding of clinical trial design and execution, statistical methods and clinical trial data reporting requirements Ability to analyze and interpret complex clinical information Experience working in highly matrix environment across a broad range of functional areas Attention to detail, excellent editorial skills, and familiarity with the AMA style guide Excellent organizational skills Strong management and leadership skills Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 15% of the time Bristol-Myers Squibb recognizes the importance of balance and flexibility in our work environment.
