OverviewThe Medical Institute of NJ (MINJ), part of Atlantic Medical Group is currently seeking an experienced CMA to join our team.ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:* The will perform clinical as well as administrative tasks including managing phones, registering patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, rooming patients, vital signs, medication reconciliation, maintaining/prepping exam rooms, and other duties typical of a CMA in a physician practice.QualificationsEducation:* High School Diploma required* Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferredQualifications/Requirements:* Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, NHA required* Post externship physician practice experience preferred* Prior EMR physician practice experience a plus* Experience with EPIC desiredAtlantic Health System has created a Trusted Network of Caring™, delivering the right care, at the right quality, at the right time, at the right place and at the right cost.
