The Nutrition Account Manager implements territory sales activities and is responsible for achieving sales objectives.

Customers include physicians, hospitals, clinics, payors and consumers in the territory.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of sales experience required or Associates Degree Nursing (ADN) and 4 years of sales experience required.

Healthcare background required with TPN experience preferred.

Clinical healthcare experience preferred, parental nutrition (PN) experience preferred.

Certificates and Licenses: Must have a valid driver license Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.

1.

Promoting Diplomat/ThriveRx products and services to physicians, patients, payors and other customers in a geographic territory.

2.

Development of strategic and tactical business plans based on local and regional market 3.

Execute contracts with Diplomat/ThriveRx customers based on approved pricing and terms.

4.

Assist in development of programs, services and materials specific to targeted disease state.

5.

Maintains customer base.

6.

Stays current on new nutrition products and services.

7.

Provides consumer educational services including; disease education, community resource referrals, community based program enrollment, referrals to clinicians as needed.

8.

Appropriate documentation of patient communication.

9.

Achieves territory sales plan and objectives.

10.

Provides local/regional representation of Diplomat/ThriveRx with various consumer related non-profit organizations as needed.

11.

Identifies new program and new business opportunities for the company; reports to the Nutrition Services Director.

12.

Works collaboratively with clinical team to achieve customer and patient service goals.

13.

Acts as corporate representative when interfacing with patient communities.

14.

Involves reimbursement and operations when negotiating and implementing contracts 15.

Completes all sales reports on a timely basis and submits to the Nutrition Services Director 16.

Completes required reporting and accounting of time and expenses within the required timeframe 17.

Participates in sales training programs.

Travel Requirement: Up to 75% Must have access to a dependable vehicle with the minimum auto insurance as required below: $250,000/$500,00 bodily injury $100,000 property damage OR $300,000 combined single limit (CSL) Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability: Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic math while analyzing data and generating reports.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft products.
