Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) Specialist

We offer interesting and challenging tasks, a positive working environment in international teams and opportunities for personal development and growth in a global company.Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) Specialist – ServicePlans, implements, coordinates and assesses accident, fire prevention, and occupational safety and health programs. Provides safety training to employees and completes facility inspections.Your responsibilities and tasks:Participate on GEA North America [United States & Canada] Service job site activities and represent the QHSE Department and ensure all GEA HSE rules and requirements are enforced on customer sites.Enforce all Field Service HSE Legal Requirements for North America [United States & Canada] including emergency response, safety checklists, hand tool safety checks, PPE, incident reporting, and jobsite safety meetings and Job Safety/Hazard Assessments.Plans, implement, coordinates, and assesses accident, evacuation, Emergency response, fire prevention and occupational safety and health programs.Performs Accident Investigations with root cause analysis and effective corrective actions.Audits to ensure all QHSE procedure and policies are implemented and being followed.Follow up on HSE Nonconformance and Corrective Actions to ensure completion and effectiveness to Organizational and key performance indicator goals.Acts as a resource for QHSE programs, issues and employee safety issues.Provide Safety, health and environmental training to employees covering all required HSE regulations.Maintains administrative control of records related to safety and health programs.  Prepares and disseminates quality, safety/health related procedures, memos and reports.Maintains, administers, and advises on required customer safety portal reporting and questionnaires.Perform Hazard Assessments, Risk Assessments, and PPE assessments, develop safety checklists, provide Service Technician HSE training based on the Service Tech’s job categories and hazards.Ensure all GEA HSE rules and requirements are enforced on customer sites.Ensure that Jobsite Safety Meetings and Pre-Job Safety assessments like Job Safety/Hazard Analysis are performed prior to doing a GEA Service job.Provide tool safety training to the Service Technicians for hydraulic tools, pneumatic tools, hand tools, ladders, fall protection, high pressure hoses, PPE, respirators, four gas monitors, and all other required safety equipment.Perform other duties as assigned Quality:Utilize continual improvement tools [Corrective actions and Risk Assessments] to drive excellence throughout the Organization.Assist the Quality HSE Manager with maintaining the ISO Certifications.Complete Internal Audits to the ISO 9001: 2015 Standard requirementsPerform other duties as assigned Your profile and qualifications:Preferred Education:  B.S. degree in related fieldISO 9001: 2015 Standard certifiedQHSE Production Experience; 3-5 years practical field experienceTravel up to 50% of the time to GEA North America (Canada & North America) Service sites
