This is a Contract position in South Brunswick, NJ posted March 26, 2020.

This is a position for a highly innovative, passionate, and energetic scientist to develop assays for POC and QC in an industry setting.

The Scientist is responsible for developing assays of therapeutic vectors for oncolytic Virotherapy.

Key responsibilities: Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, such as DNA, RNA, or protein isolation, PCR, qPCR to assess virus or immune payload bio-distribution.

Proficiency in design and execute cellular and immunological assays such as FACS, ELISA and functional assays to examine payload expression and immune function Developing assays for characterizing therapeutic vectors and tech transfer to QC department Contribute to the writing of SOPs and other technical documents.

Perform BSL2 work in compliance with company policies.

Work closely and collaboratively with fellow employees Qualifications:
• A Master or a recent Ph.

D in the Biomedical Sciences
• Preferably 3 years of experience working as a scientist in an academic, research, laboratory setting or biotech/pharma company
• This person must have extensive hands on experience in developing in vitro assays
• Experienced skills in molecular, cell biology and immunology, such as flow cytometry, immunochemistry and nucleic acid quantification
• Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
• Experience and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
