Sales Executive – mid market


This is a Contract position in Woodbridge Township, NJ posted March 29, 2020.

SmartLinx Solutions, LLC, an industry leader in the Labor-Management suite for the health care industry.

SmartLinx Solutions, LLC is a fast-growing and dynamic company looking for a sales executive professional to help us expand our footprint in the long term care, mid-market space.

Job Function: You will be responsible for prospecting, and ultimately selling SmartLinx software, services, and training within assigned accounts or territory.

This is a 100% hunter role for somebody who is ambitious and comfortable with bringing in all-new logos.

You will be expected to generate sales through personal contact, prospecting, business case justification, demonstrations, phone calls, and written proposals.

Perform complete sales cycle activities from lead identification through contract negotiation and signing, account transition to services, ongoing support, and follow-on sales.

Key Responsibilities : Close sales in assigned accounts or territory.

Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual quota objectives Negotiate contracts with prospects involving SmartLinx management team as required Identify new prospects and business opportunities.

Conceive and implement territory-based lead generation activities for SmartLinx products and services.

Activities may include account meetings, product demonstrations, industry meetings, prospecting, cold-calling and account research Assess customer needs and qualify sales opportunities Prepare, present and clarify quotations and all related sale documentation to customers Initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with prospective clients at executive levels Accurately forecast software, professional services and training opportunity on a monthly and quarterly basis Enter all activities, contacts and their titles, and track all customer related issues in Prepare, present and maintain Territory, Account, Call and Close Plans in support of ongoing Opportunity Reviews Demonstrate and maintain a thorough understanding of the target market and functional business activity Analyze and understand customer insights and market trends; adapt, communicate and evolve strategies based on these changes Additional Duties & Responsibilities: Travel to customer sites to conduct sales activities (20% travel) Establish clear meeting agendas and provide client background and call plans to internal resources in advance Represent SmartLinx at industry at local, regional and national trade shows and events Continuously learn SmartLinx products, value and fit into the customer base Qualifications : Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience selling software solutions to medium size corporations and preferably to companies in the healthcare industry.

Experience selling to C-level executives a requirement Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in a relevant field of study Proven success of quota over-attainment during the past several years Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent presentation, interpersonal communication and analytical skills Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas in person, over the telephone, and in written correspondence Understanding of basic workforce management, business functions and processes Self-starter with excellent prioritization and time management skills At ease establishing business relationships with individuals from various industries & departments and at various corporate levels Comfortable speaking before an audience of between 2–50 people in either a live meeting or teleconference setting Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare industry including long-term care is a plus Well versed in Windows and Internet technologies, Salesforce experience preferred
