Join our team today and immerse yourself in a rewarding career for years to come!As a Substitute/Per-Diem Group Worker, you will work on-call within an adult day program setting in Lumberton, Burlington County, NJ. The day program supports adults with a mental illness and developmental disability. The program promotes positive behaviors and revolves around the recurring events of daily living.Responsibilities:* Maintain consumer records, including progress notes, and all other record-keeping as required by Agency policies and Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD)* Develop and implement treatment plan* Coordinate and maintain daily activity schedule* Assist with employment contracts on a daily basis* Maintain availability to consumer and staff on a 24-hour basis during emergencies* Develop and implement an activity schedule on a weekly basis* Hold responsibility for safety and well-being of consumer during all scheduled activities and community outings* Fill in when consumer is out* Work collaboratively with Program Supervisor* Must work 2 or more Holidays per year* Must work 16 hours of weekend per month* Must attend 8 staff meetings per yearRequirementsQualifications:* Be at least 18 years of age* Possess high school diploma or equivalent* Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals preferredAll positions require a valid driver’s license in good standing, pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check. All candidates, if hired, will be expected to cooperate with Oaks Integrated Care and The Department of Human Services in all inspections and investigations.
