This is a Contract position in East Windsor Township, NJ posted March 30, 2020.

We are looking for a sales professional with 2-3 years of experience preferably within the healthcare industry.

You will be responsible for selling digital and print advertising opportunities for one of our dynamic and client rich publications as well as exhibit and sponsorship opportunities for a portfolio of live events.

You will be required to maintain a current client base and develop new business.

The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment where performance is measured, relationships matter, and tenacity is required.

Responsibilities
· Ability to demonstrate knowledge and benefits of HMP’s products and services (editorial content, digital capabilities and live educational events).

· Work closely with clients to understand their needs, budget, and timeframe.

· Develop and grow a quality pipeline of new contacts as targeted potential clients through on-going networking and relationship building.

· Maintain consultative relationships with clients to ensure that they are maximizing the value of HMP’s products and services.

· Extensive communication via phone (40-50 calls per day) and email.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
· Experience working a full sales cycle (prospecting – close)
· Exceptional presentation skills
· Ability to create compelling customer presentations
· Knowledge of advanced functions of PowerPoint
· Experience responding to customers Request for Proposal (RFP’s) in a timely manner
· Competitive in nature
· Ability to speak with confidence and poise
· Assertive, positive, and persistent communication style
· Naturally outgoing and articulate individual who thrives in social settings
· Skilled at objection handling
· Exceptional time management and organizational skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Consistent and verifiable work history
