Job Summary This position serves as the event services visionary, directs and manages the activities of Account Management, Meetings & Events and Experiential Production departments.

Ensures departmental synergy with the ultimate goal of taking the Company to a new event service level, aids President in formulating and administering organizational policies by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives.

Develops and implements strategic plans to accommodate corporate goals.

Manages and develops Account Management, Meetings & Events, Experiential Production departments including department managers and their personnel, department resources, and organizational structure.

Develop strategies to create synergies between Account Management, Meetings & Events, and Experiential Production departments.

Monitors production of projects to ensure end products and solutions meet intent and client satisfaction.

Establishes current and long range objectives, plans, and policies, subject to approval by Board of Directors.

Creates an event services vision for the company and plans for implementation of new projects or product lines.

Dispenses advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies and Board approval.

Works with sales, and marketing to discern competitiveness of new technologies.

Creates budgets, allocates resources, and determines schedules.

Cultivates and grows Account Management, Meetings & Events, and Experiential Production talent.

Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine Account Management, Meetings & Events, Experiential Production departments’ progress toward stated goals and objectives.

Confers with President and other administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.

Maintains on-going relationships with clients to insure overall Company satisfaction as well as service and production teams’ satisfaction.

Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop the Account Management, Meetings & Events, and Experiential Production departments.

Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products, services and the Company.

Delivers sales presentations to existing and new key clients in coordination with Account Directors.

Meets with key clients, assisting Account Directors with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

Recommends or approves budget, expenditures, employee expense reports, travel authorizations and cash advances.

Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.

Member of the Leadership Executive team.

Supervisory Responsibilities Manages 6
– 8 subordinate managers who supervise a total of 80-100 employees in the Account Management, Meetings & Events, and Experiential Production departments.

Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
