Position: Immigration Specialist/ Paralegal Location: Peoria, IL or Edison NJ Full time employee opportunity.

Summary LTTS is seeking a full-time Immigration Specialist/ Paralegal to provide support to immigration team & business needs for our Peoria, IL or Edison NJ location.

Roles & Responsibilities
· Provide support to immigration team, business & co-ordinate with Immigration Attorneys and fillings of all Non-Immigrant and Immigrant Work Permits.

· Ensure proper paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas are completed accurately and in a timely manner
· Oversees immigration programs and assists with immigration procedures, review with Immigration Attorney and resolve routine Immigration issues
· Assist with the drafting and reviewing of Documents required for Visa Filings.

· Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant Immigration Laws.

· Maintain all Immigration Records and make them available for any Audits as required.

· Communicate/coordinate with clients, LTTS Managers and Employees and ensure appropriate Immigration guidance and advise is provided.

· Support various RFE request, review Amendment requirements and ensure all Visa amendments/transfers are done on time and with 100% compliance.

· To periodically brief LTTS Management on the Immigration changes happening in the Country and prepare strategies to ensure the Immigration changes are implemented without Business Impact.

· Bachelor’s degree;
· Must have expertise in Business Immigration sector.

· Must have experience in drafting, preparing and filing H-1B visa extension petitions, Adjustment of Status applications, as well as Employment Authorization and Advance Parole renewal applications.

· Hands on experience interacting with daily immigration correspondence.

· Preparing status updates to reflect accurate and up to date information.

· Record keeping of all immigration related documents.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat;
· Excellent word processing and proofreading skills;
· Superior verbal and written communication skills;
· Ability to work well under pressure, including some evenings and weekends;
· Ability to manage time and tasks independently, problem-solve, and manage multiple projects simultaneously; and
· High Maturity levels and proactive.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality
