Volumetric Graphics Engineer (CUDA)


This is a Full-time position in Harrison, NJ posted March 27, 2020.

The Volumetric Pipeline engineer (CUDA) will design, develop and maintain complex multi layer systems with multithreaded programming and network programming with high performance solutions, using efficient and reliable C++ code.

This role will be a primary contributor to a volumetric 3D pipeline using C++C, CUDA and other GPU technologies.

Will be working with 100 gigabit, fiber and SDI networks to move terabits of data through the pipeline.

In addition, this engineer will Learning new concepts and languages as needed to support various components of 3D reconstruction, encoding, streaming and playback.

Working closely with other engineers to integrate components for the end to end solutions Contributing during all phases of project lifecycles You are an inventor and self-starter who lives and breathes new technology.

You are excited and energized by the idea of exploring uncharted technological frontiers and establishing Verizon at the forefront of the volumetric landscape.

You are willing to fail fast and iterate your way past challenges, and are never discouraged by having to create your own roadmap.

You are able to work on site with a small applied RD team that develops using Ubuntu as the main development environment.

You’ll need to have Bachelor’s degree or ten or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of directly relevant development experience.

Deep working knowledge of CUDA.

Better if you have A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

Experience with H.264, H.265 and FFMPEG programming Experience in C++, C, Python, Swift, Objective-C, Boost and Javascript.

Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

Experience in Windows, Linux and iOS.

Knowledge of object-oriented programming and modular software design.

Experience with design patterns and multithreaded application development.

Experience with version control systems (such as GIT).

Experience with build tools.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
