Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: Responsible for coordinating, implementing andmanaging all aspects of the Licensed Operations Training Programfor the Salem & Hope Creek Generating Station. Serve assimulator instructor in the assigned area of the OperationsTraining Departments including instruction of trainees andmaintenance of records. Gather pertinent information necessary forthe development/revision of new and existing training materials.Develop, review and revise training procedure program descriptionsincluded in the training program. Work with Training Supervisor todefine training needs and evaluate their effectiveness.Lead/evaluate simulator scenarios. Provide instructor ContinuingTraining to peers. Interface with Simulator support personnelregarding Simulator performance and fidelity issues. Monitor, trackand report on student performance to operations management.Maintain and apply working knowledge of PSEG Standards for BusinessControls and meet management’s expectations for effective internalbusiness controls. Progression in the position will be to a ProgramLead. Job Specific Qualifications Required: High School Diploma orequivalent. BWR/PWR Nuclear Operations Experience or at least fiveyears’ experience as an SRO certified instructor is required. Mustbe qualified or capable of being qualified as a SimulatorInstructor. Note: At this level an associate is able to operate thesimulator and instruct on the floor of the simulator. Some shiftwork may be required for training. Must meet and maintain PSEGNuclear requirements for unescorted site access. Desired: BSDegree. Knowledge and application of Systematic Approach toTraining (SAT) 5+ years experience in licensed operator training,and/or experience interacting with NRC and INPO inspectors duringtraining evaluations/inspections.
