PSEG has more than 12,000 employees who are dedicated to the communities we serve and embody our vision: People providing Safe, Reliable, Economic and Greener Energy.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Responsible for coordinating, implementing and managing all aspects of the Licensed Operations Training Program for the Salem & Hope Creek Generating Station.

Serve as simulator instructor in the assigned area of the Operations Training Departments including instruction of trainees and maintenance of records.

Gather pertinent information necessary for the development/revision of new and existing training materials.

Develop, review and revise training procedure program descriptions included in the training program.

Work with Training Supervisor to define training needs and evaluate their effectiveness.

Lead/evaluate simulator scenarios.

Provide instructor Continuing Training to peers.

Interface with Simulator support personnel regarding Simulator performance and fidelity issues.

Monitor, track and report on student performance to operations management.

Maintain and apply working knowledge of PSEG Standards for Business Controls and meet management’s expectations for effective internal business controls.

Progression in the position will be to a Program Lead.Job Specific QualificationsRequired:High School Diploma or equivalent.

BWR/PWR Nuclear Operations Experience or at least five years’ experience as an SRO certified instructor is required.

Must be qualified or capable of being qualified as a Simulator Instructor.

Note: At this level an associate is able to operate the simulator and instruct on the floor of the simulator.

Some shift work may be required for training.

Must meet and maintain PSEG Nuclear requirements for unescorted site access.Desired:BS Degree.

Knowledge and application of Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)5+ years experience in licensed operator training, and/or experience interacting with NRC and INPO inspectors during training evaluations/inspections.DisclaimerCertain positions at the Company may require you to have access to Part 810-Controlled Information.
