Responsibilities: Coordinates and communicates assessment of above product strategic perspective of industry and Market Access trends WW.

Drives innovation from ideation to execution; Engages with internal and external stakeholders to mobilize around challenges and opportunities in order to deliver on innovative win-win access solutions; Collaborates with the Worldwide Pricing Strategy Lead to ensure BMS is always up to date / informed on the most innovative access models in the industry (or possible analogue models from other industries), as well as trends (societal, Policy/Legislative, Technological, and RWD/RWE data) that may impact BMS in the way it chooses to ideate and execute; Creates space in the organization for identification and creation of new models and initiatives that address internal and external healthcare stakeholder needs; Leads the cross-functional teams that will detail the implementation plans for new models, as well as the stakeholder engagement plan for implementation and partnership during pilot phase and scale up/launch phase; Collaborating with the Worldwide Pricing Strategy Lead HEOR, Market Access Strategy Leads and other cross-functional stakeholders (internal and external) to Co-develop metrics and KPIs for innovative solutions at all stages of the process.

Represent the Value and Access organization on the BMS/ IQvia CODE (Collaboration for Oncology Data in Europe initiative, seeking opportunities to assess, create, and support outcomes-based contracting and innovative pricing agreements.

Support Policy coming from industry associations (e.g.

EFPIA) and academia on innovative access/pricing initiatives.

Works closely with Worldwide Brand Leads and General Managers/Access Leads in affiliates to better understand challenges and opportunities looking for innovative solutions/models.

Collaborates with R&D for early pipeline assets.

Maintains close links with our Worldwide communications teams for proactive internal and external communication planning of BMS’s progress in this area.

Provide regular ‘education sessions’ to a broad group of BMS employees, as appropriate, during Town Hall Events.

Requirements: Minimum: Bachelors Degree, Prefered advanced degree.

Minimum 10 years of experience in the life-sciences or pharmaceutical industry, 8 or more years of directly related experience in Market Access, Pricing or in a similar function.

Track record of ideation leading to execution a major plus.

Good understanding of payer and government environment in a major markets, including such areas as coverage and reimbursement, pricing and contracting, value drivers, value based healthcare, health technology assessment, HTA policy, advocacy and government affairs/public policy.

Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional (and matrix) teams Excellent communication and presentation skills, including interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and succeed in a highly matrixed environment Strong understanding of strategic pricing and contracting, including innovative approaches such as risk-sharing and outcome-based deals Experience in product commercialization desirable; Regional or global experience is strongly preferred Strategic planning and health policy experience is a plus Bristol-Myers Squibb recognizes the importance of balance and flexibility in our work environment.
