We are thrilled to be part of our customers’ lives, cooking and creating experiences in their home kitchens.WHO’S IN THE KITCHENThe primary role of a Security Supervisor is to assist the Security Manager and lead the security team in protecting company assets and personnel. This role involves conducting routine patrols with the security team, looking out for any suspicious persons, vandalism or hazards. The Security Supervisor will also respond to any alarms and physical or verbal disturbances that may occur. It is their duty to immediately report any breakdowns of the security systems or processes to the Security Manager or a member of management immediately.WHAT’S ON THE MENU* A 4 years degree from an accredited college or university* 5-10 years experience in guard management, physical security or other relevant security experience* Experience overseeing teams of 10+ security personnel* Experience with CCTV monitoring and access control administration* Designations of CPP, PSP, CFI, etc are a plus!* Must be able to stand and/or sit for an extended period of time* Exposure to temperatures that range from freezing to sub-freezing (coolers, freezers, etc).NECESSARY INGREDIENTS* Adhering to and enforcing all Blue Apron policies and procedures.* Assisting the Security Manager in training new security personnel.* Assist in administration and management of the JC visitor center, access control system and CCTV program* The Security Supervisor must ensure that all the officers have reported to work and are assigned duties.* Inspecting the team to ensure they are in uniform and all equipment is working properly. For example: Radios, Wands and Metal Detectors.* The Security Supervisor must brief the security team at the beginning of each shift concerning any visitors or activities that may occur during the shift.* The Security Supervisor organizes the break schedule, including the officers’ rotations.* Supervising the overall activities of the security staff during tour of duty.* The Security Supervisor must pass on and share any developments or information during their shift with the Supervisor that is relieving he/she.* At the end of each shift, the Security Supervisor must assemble, document and inform the Security Manager of any normal/abnormal issues that may have occurred during each shift.* The Security Supervisor must investigate any suspicious activities that take place.
