The team has accountability for executing the inbound supply chain for our customer including; planning and scheduling, inventory management, transportation coordination, as well as vendor management.Key Responsibilities Include:* Manage Safety, Quality, and Customer Service and serve as the Technical Specialist Liaison between Altium and the customer.* Investigate filling line delays, provides root cause analysis (RCA) for component, mechanical and other issues and makes recommendations for corrective actions and resolutions.* Supervise four direct reports located on customer premises.* Provide leadership, direction, training, and technical process and packaging guidance to direct reports and for the customer filling line personnel, Management and Staff and for Corporate.* Lead supplier meetings and drive supplier performance improvements* Conduct and lead root cause analysis on supplier quality and service issues* Actively participates in Supplier Corrective Action requests and claim collection in areas of supplier quality and service problems.* Hold suppliers accountable for raw material quality and quickly resolve plant rejections with suppliers.* Develop and implement supplier performance scorecards designed to align supplier incentives with the customer’s needs and interests.* Develop and implement raw materials inventory strategies aimed at maximizing service.* Monitor and manage raw materials inventory levels accordingly.* Lead, coach, mentor, and develop team members; cultivate customer focus and develop relationships with key stakeholders at customer sites.* Drive supply chain innovation, always seeking ways to improve competitive advantage.* Collaborate with the corporate logistics team to develop cost-effective off-site warehousing strategies as appropriate for both raw materials and finished goods.* Maintain high levels of customer contact and build customer relationships* Maintain an environment to continually identify, refine and ensure the achievement of the team goals and objectives.* Routinely interact with personnel at all levels in the supply chain and with filling, packaging and assembly to confirm product integrity.* Manage EHSMS/SHE interface and compliance between Altium and the customer.* Participate in and provide technical expertise for new product development and materials testing.* “Owner” of Management of Change, who is responsible for orderly and cost effective transitioning of material SKUs, inventory reconciliation for bottle promotions coordination, specials, couponing, sticker and component analysis and new product component sourcing and testing.* Protect and maintain customer confidentiality.Qualifications:Required:* Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, engineering, business administration, or a related field* Minimum of 8 years of supply chain experience with minimum 4 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience* Experience in manufacturing industry sourcing raw material commodities* Minimum of 2 years of experience managing a team of buyers* Experience with SAP, JDE or similar ERP system* Intermediate level of Excel* Clear communications skills, critical thinking skills, and economic thinking skills* Understanding of Safe Work Practices* Customer focused service and a track record of consistently exceeding customer requirements and expectations* Demonstrated problem solving ability and root cause analysis* Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesPreferred:* Master’s Degree or MBA* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Skype, Teams)* Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or similar certificationsWe Believe in Rewarding our Most Important Resource – Our People!We show our commitment to Total Rewards by providing a competitive, comprehensive benefits package.
