Job DescriptionThe position of Studio Manager (SM) is seen as an integral position within the organization.

The SM will be responsible for the total oversight of a specific studio.

This includes sales, operations and fitness.

Direct reports include the Assistant Managers, Sales Associates and Head Coach.

The Studio Manager position is a full-time position that demands a top-tier leader to maintain and grow the overall success of the studio.

The Studio Manager is a highly trusted individual with access to sensitive and confidential information.

The role requires the utmost professionalism, tact and discretion.

The Studio Manager is responsible for maximizing sales/profitability, streamlining studio operations and supporting recruitment/optimal staffing within the studio.

In addition, the SM is responsible for assuring that all levels of the studio organization perform in line with expectations for each role (Sales Associate, Floor Lead, Assistant Studio Managers, Coaches, and the Head Coach).ResponsibilitiesThe Studio Manager operates with the support of the designated Area Manager and Regional ManagerMust be an Orange Ambassador and always lead by exampleMust be a valued resource for employees and has working knowledge of WCF/Orangetheory Fitness (OTF)Deliver thorough new hire onboarding: use the structured WCF onboarding guideProvide leadership and assist with the ongoing development, training and support of the Assistant Managers, Sales Associates and Coaches within the designated studioCompliance and adherence to OTF Business Policies for daily studio operationsResponsible for achieving top-tier performance metrics including but not limited to revenue, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facilities maintenanceExecute weekly duties on-time and with utmost attention to detailAttend and submit clear Power Meeting/Manager Meeting recap notes to Manager Channel weeklyAttend all directed monthly meetings and listen to all Corporate WebinarsBuild and maintain OTF class size through scheduling optimizationBe current and up-to-date on all Orange University modules and e-learningsActively participate on Slack: comment, react and connect with your designated studio employeesPerform quality control audits on Studio Workbooks, MBO reporting and studio Labor HoursEnsure necessary staffing levels to satisfy studio demand while remaining within the studio budgetHost monthly staff meetings as well as 1-on-1 meetings with each Sales Associate, Floor Lead and Assistant ManagerEvaluate each studio employee on their performance and deliver intentional action plans to support in their on-going developmentEnsure that all front desk procedures are followed such as proper Member Check-In, Telephone Inquiries (general and sales related), Cash Handling, Delinquent Account Procedures, Customer Care calls, etc.Provide and maintain the highest level of customer servicePlan and promote special events for the studio monthlyResponsible for ensuring that the facility is clean, maintained and operationally soundSpend a minimum of 40+ hours in studio weekly including one full weekend dayUphold all studio policies and maintain the culture, atmosphere and overall member experience expected from all WCF studios RequirementsMust possess excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive, successful environment for staff and clients!Minimum 2-3 years of previous sales experience requiredMinimum 2-3 years of management experience required, including directly overseeing all aspects of staff management from hiring, training, supporting, discipline, and employee separationPrevious management experience in the health & fitness industry strongly preferredStrong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanorSolid verbal and written communication skills requiredAbility to multi-task and manage client and staff concernsAbility to work and function in a team environmentFlexible to work day, evening and/or weekend hours as neededHealth & Fitness minded people with a passion for fitness strongly preferredExcellent problem-solving abilitiesExceptional communication and interpersonal abilitiesKnowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principlesExperience in customer service and/or hospitalityExperience in the training and development of a teamProven track record of meeting sales targetsExperience with staff scheduling and staff recruitmentProficient in Microsoft Office Programs including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote
